Fast Data Roadshow London

Build your understanding of streaming data architecture with a half-day free technical roundtable

24 January 2017

Big Data Gets Real (Time)

You don’t have time to wait for the next batch job to extract useful information from that data that just arrived. The world of Big Data is evolving to Fast Data, processing streams of data as they arrive, rather than running batch jobs later.

But there are risks involved. There are so many choices; what tools should you use? How do you avoid making rookie mistakes? What are the best patterns and practices for streaming applications?

Technical experts from Lightbend and Mesosphere are hosting a half-day free roundtable and tasty lunch with 50 architects in your city so you can learn how your peers are leveraging Akka Streams, Kafka, and Spark Streaming to build and run distributed fast data pipelines.

Agenda

11:30am Registration
12:00pm Welcome and Lunch
12:30pm Presentations and Roundtable Discussions
  3:00pm Closing Remarks

There is no cost to participate. However, to create an environment for effective collaboration and learning, seating is limited.
